Pedro Gonzalez

Pedro has the distinction of being a finalist of Caroline’s New York Funniest Contest, a finalist of Stand Up NBC, and is also the first Latino to do comedy on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Pedro is a zero generation American, meaning he came to this country with zero papers, English, or money. And somehow took the very unusual path for an immigrant: doing stand up on a language that he learned at 20 years old. If that doesn’t show you that immigrants are hard working and not lazy, I don’t know what will. Pedro is a NYC based comedian and is considered one of the best joke writers in the city. He’s a dual citizen of Colombia and the United States and is married to an American woman. He loves to write jokes about his experience as an immigrant, a husband and a dad.
