Shapel Lacey

Shapel Lacey is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. A diehard punk music fan and former award-winning competitive cheerleader, Shapel has always had a flair for self-expression. After making his teammates laugh during practice, his collegiate cheer team dared him to try stand-up and he never looked back. Shapel turns personal chaos into comedy. His material is sharp, honest, and unexpectedly heartwarming—balancing vulnerability with undeniable charm. Currently, he is a paid regular at the world-famous Comedy Store and performs alongside comedians such as Bill Burr, Bert Kreischer, Trevor Wallace, Bobby Lee, and more. When he’s not on stage, he’s the front man for his punk band Mad Peaceful or hosting one of his podcasts, Cooked in the Comments or Lesser Known Characters…
