About Susanna Lee
Susanna Lee (Lucky DeLuxe) tickles her audiences with a combination of sharp wit, honesty, and audacious charm. With creative pursuits spanning the worlds of stand up, burlesque, storytelling, yoga, and anecdotal writing this saucy gal is way too busy oozing creativity to spare any time for long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners, or anything beyond talking to her cats and caring too much about Facebook. Susanna Lee/Lucky DeLuxe has been heard on Sirius XM’s Rawdogs Comedy channel, and seen on such television shows as “Beverly Hills Brides”, “Girls Behaving Badly”, “America’s Court”, and, for a millisecond of face time, "Last Comic Standing". She has performed in several festivals, including the New York, New Orleans, Colorado, Kansas City, Best of the Midwest, Southern Fried, and Show-Me Burlesque Festivals, the Bridgetown, Chicago and Ventura Comedy Festivals, and the Coney Island Rockabilly Festival. As "Lucky DeLuxe", she was a headlining performer in the 2013 New Zealand Burlesque Festival. She's been a welcome guest on a growing percentage of the millions of podcasts that exist; and a bunch of newspapers have published interviews with her, or articles about her. They are available for viewing in her living room. Susanna Lee's second one-person show, “Getting Lucky” combined comedy, burlesque, storytelling and original games into one seamless hour of solid entertainment, and won “Best Of Fringe” awards at the 2011 and 2012 KC Fringe Festivals; in addition to making it’s way across America, via grass-roots touring. Her third solo show, "UnLucky: A Stripper Stripped", explores the difference between person and persona, is her first foray into dram-edy, and successfully debuted at the 2014 KC Fringe Festival.
